It all starts with a vision for a new tourist area or resort. For this vision to take shape, the first step is to prepare a master plan - an integrative tourism development concept that takes into account the technical, economic and socio-ecological aspects of the project. After a more detailed permit application design and after a positive investment decision has been made, the tourist resort will be developed, designed and implemented in several stages and from an overall tourism perspective. PEC accompanies the client from the production of the tender documents to procurement, through to implementation and commissioning of all structures and their subsequent operation.

PEC is able to offer the complete range of services required for all project phases in a one-stop shop. In essence, three interlinked areas are addressed:

  • Development of land-use planning including hotels, apartment buildings, shopping streets, restaurants, golf courses, parks, etc.
  • Development of mountain infrastructure comprising ropeways, lifts, ski slopes, snowmaking systems with storage reservoirs, mountain restaurants, observation decks, heliports, cycle paths and hiking trails, cross country ski trails and various other summer and winter attractions
  • Development of basic infrastructure including traffic and transport, power and water supply, wastewater treatment and disposal, waste disposal etc.
